#MakersWednesday: Quilt Blocks

Welcome back for #MakersWednesday, where we celebrate the past week of making! Won’t you join us?

This week I’m sharing another quilting WIP (if you’ve been following along, I have mentioned my recent addiction to enthusiasm for quilting). In this photo the quilt is just a few blocks that I framed with coordinating semi-solids:

If you’re swooning over that lumberjack fabric – as you should be – you can find it here, in the Joyful Roots Etsy Shop. That bundle isn’t exactly the same as the one I used (which was a debut exclusive), but it’ll get the job done, for sure!

At the time I’m writing this, those quilt blocks have grown up to become an entire quilt top! I’ll get finished photos of it after I sandwich and quilt it, and re-post it here for another round of #MakersWednesday.

In the meantime, share YOUR creative works-in-progress with us on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #MakersWednesday so we can all see what you’re making!

This week I’ve got a hand-knit pair of socks to share! Well, really, it’s the toe portion of one of those socks (the other one is finished but not pictured). I’m designing this pattern and having lots of fun doing it! The leafy motif reminds me that Spring is on the way!

What are YOU making this week? We’d love to see! Share your photos on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #MakersWednesday!
