This week, I’m sharing a project I recently finished – an owl quilt for my daughter, who is 8:
I used this tutorial to make my star blocks, and then I used a method from this awesome Craftsy class for quilting each block individually before piecing them together with binding (the method is also described in this free video).
For the back of this quilt I used all flannels so it would be extra cozy. It looks like a wild disco floor, and my kiddo loves it:
