Welcome to #ThinkCreateReflect, where we slow down at the end of the week and take the time to work through a creative or business-related prompt (or both!). We’re glad you’re here to join us!
With this week’s prompt, it’s time to breathe new life into an old object!
Go through your house and find something that you were planning to throw away, or something you haven’t used in six months or more (it can be a decoration, a garment, or some other household item). Try to think of a new way to use that item – can you give it a make-over to make it wearable or to help it fit in with your decor? Can you repurpose it to solve a storage problem you’ve been having? Giving new purpose to a discarded item is one way to flex your creative muscles, so give it a try!
If you’d like to share your repurposed creation with us, post a link on Twitter or Instagram and tag it #ThinkCreateReflect!
Welcome to #ThinkCreateReflect, where each week we provide you with a prompt to inspire your creativity, your life, or your business. Or maybe all three!
For this week’s prompt, get out a piece of paper or your journal.
Write down something you’re learning right now – maybe it’s something you recently read in a business book, or you’re teaching yourself how to crochet, or you’re learning the best ways to pay your taxes, even! Write it down now, and get in the habit of repeating this prompt whenever you learn something new so you can remember what you learned long into the future.
What are you learning right now? Share it with us on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #ThinkCreateReflect!
Welcome to #ThinkCreateReflect, where we take a moment to pause, reflect, and make during a busy week.
Today’s prompt is just a quote and a question for reflection:
“Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is the probable reason why so few engage in it.” – Henry Ford
Do you agree? If not, what work is harder than thinking, and why?
Welcome back to #ThinkCreateReflect, where we take the time each Friday to stop and think, to create something new, and to reflect on the week. We invite you to join us – pull out a notebook or your journal and think, create, reflect along with us!
This week, think back – waaaaay back, to your early days! Then answer the following prompt:
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Have you become that thing, or something else entirely? If it’s something else, can you incorporate some aspect of that childhood dream into the career you do have today?
We’d love to hear how your childhood dreams have come true, or changed entirely! Share with us on Instagram or Twiter and tag it #ThinkCreateReflect!
Welcome to #ThinkCreateReflect! Every Friday we take a moment to post a prompt that will inspire your creativity or your business to move forward. We’re so glad you’re here with us!
This week, take out your journal (of the art or standard variety) and respond to the following prompt:
Step 1: At the top of a page, write down one thing you’ve always wanted to try in business (or life). What’s something you haven’t yet dared to do, but the thought of accomplishing it makes your heart sing? Write it down!
Under that, draw or cut/paste pictures and write words or quotes that inspire you to accomplish that goal. Hang this page up or refer to it often to help you get closer to daring that dream.
We hope you’ll share your inspiration pages with us – post a photo on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #ThinkCreateReflect. We’ll see you there!
