For this week’s prompt, why not take the time out today to give yourself a treat, in honor of tomorrow’s holiday? If you’re stuck for ideas, here are a few:
- Play hooky from work – go to the park, a museum, or the movies instead.
- Take a bubble bath.
- Buy yourself flowers or a fancy chocolate bar. Or both!
- Give yourself a mani/pedi or go out for one.
- Lose yourself in a good book.
- Take a walk in nature.
- Bake your favorite treat.
- Take a 20-minute tea break.
- Go buy yourself a pumpkin spice latte and let yourself enjoy it, instead of working while you drink it.
- Call up an old friend you haven’t talked to in a while.
