Happy #MakersWednesday, everyone! It’s time for some more Maker Show + Tell!

This week, I’ve got a fun project I’m working on with my kids. Megan of StudioMME sent us these fabulous ornament kits to work with. I was interested to see how much my kids (aged 12, 10, and 6) could do on their own and how much they would need my help.

The kits involve embroidering some decorative straight stitches and chain stitches onto the body of the animals (the llama also included some satin stitching). The kids did all the straight stitching, and I came in to finish the rest.

Next we’ll cut out the shapes and try mattress stitching them together before we stuff them. So far it has been a really fun project, and one that all three of my kids have enjoyed!

So – what are you working on this week? Share it with us in the comments or┬átag it #MakersWednesday on social media!
