Happy #MakersWednesday, everyone! It’s time for some show and tell!
Lately I’ve been wanting to cast on all the things for my knitting projects, so recently I started four projects at nearly the same time: a sweater, a pair of socks for my youngest child, a shawl, and a hat. Normally I go a little bit crazy when I have that many WIPs (works in progress) at one time, but this time it felt good to have so many projects to choose from.
Nevertheless, it’s always good to finish one and clear out the WIP stack a little bit! And that’s what I did this weekend. When I started the weekend I had just finished the ribbing on this slouchy, scrappy hat. And I managed to finish it with some marathon TV watching in between loads of laundry! I used some leftover yarns from my stash to make it, and I’m really happy with the way it turned out!
I have just a tiny bit of each yarn left, probably enough for a baby-sized hat, so I might make one of those for the gift pile, or use it to make coffee cup cozies or something for winter.
So – what have you been making lately? Share it with us in the comments or tag us on social media with @PatternedApp and #MakersWednesday!
