Welcome to #ThinkCreateReflect, where we take a little time to flex our creative muscles!
This week my kids and I have been reading a book about what it was like to be a child in Colonial America. It has been really interesting for all of us, and we spend a lot of time chuckling at the way they did things back then. My youngest son is particularly amused, and at dinner the other night he stood up and covered his mouth because kids in colonial times weren’t permitted to sit OR speak during meals. Ahh, how wonderfully peaceful it must have been for their parents!
Of course, that leads me to wonder what people will laugh about in the future, when they look back on us?
For today’s journal prompt, I thought it would be fun to imagine ourselves in another time.
Choose any time in history – a time you’ve always wanted to live in or maybe one you’d never want to visit – and describe what your day would be like if you lived during that time.
