Hello, and welcome to #MakersWednesday!
This week I’m channeling my inner Crawley sister with a knitted hat just for me. I’ve been working on a big project, and once that was finished I was ready to cast on for something new and quick. I had picked up the pattern for the Tempress hat when it was available as a limited-time free offer before the holidays, so I decided to cast on!

Since experience has told me that hats with a brim of some sort look better on me than more close-fitting beanies, I went with the cloche style of the Tempress. I used a tweedy teal yarn I got from Knit Picks in their mystery grab bag special, and trimmed it with an applied i-cord in tan, adding a button for a finishing touch.
