#ThinkCreateReflect: 12 Days of Mindfulness

For today’s prompt, I was inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas. You know, I’ve always wondered – does that start ON Christmas and go for 12 days afterwards, or is it the 12 days leading to Christmas? For our purposes today, either interpretation will work.

For 12 days this month, either starting on December 25 or leading up to it (which would be December 14-25), take a moment each day to really live in the present. Think about the things that have happened that day, the things you’re grateful for, the sounds & sights & smells of the season. Each day, write a few lines in a journal or notebook to reflect on that day and make a memory of it. See if that mindfulness every day doesn’t help ground you during this hectic time of the year and remind you of what really matters.
