#MakersWednesday: Finished Triangle Quilt

Happy Wednesday, Makers! We’re so happy to have you here with us on the day we celebrate the Maker in all of us.

This week, I’ve got a finished quilt to share! In many ways this was NOT my best quilting project – there are several places where the triangle points don’t perfectly match up, and the backing got a bit wrinkled in the process of quilting. But I think my grandmother will love it, flaws and all, and in the end I guess that’s what matters most. I think most of you Makers can probably relate to my need to let go of perfection and just MAKE something already!


The top of the quilt was made largely from my stash, and it’s scrappy and bright and super fun. The back was a bed sheet with a white background and a fun, colorful floral print:
