Welcome to our favorite day of the week – #MakersWednesday! – where we take a moment to show + tell about our creative endeavors.
This week I’ve got a finished quilt to show off! My Lumberjack Attack quilt showcases a lot of my favorite things – quirky fabrics, clean/modern lines, and the colors orange + grey!
I designed this quilt top myself (aka, I made it up as I went along). I wanted to showcase my awesome Lumberjack Attack fat quarter bundle from Joyful Roots, so I decided to use those as the main fabrics and then frame them in semi-solids and add the charcoal grey for a nice, neutral background. The quilt is backed with an all-0ver orange and white print and bound in that same fabric. It’s a nice, cozy throw size and it has become my regular evening companion while I sit on the couch and knit, watch TV, or snuggle with the kiddos (usually some combination of those three). What about you, what have you been making this week? We’d love to see – post a photo on Instagram or Twitter and use the tag #MakersWednesday!
